Here's what we collect on this site and what we do with it, in plain English.

What happens to your information

  1. What we collect

If you fill out a form on this site, we keep your email address and whatever you wrote. If you install an app, the Security page covers what the app stores.

  2. What we use it for

To answer your question, or to email you about the app you signed up for. We don't sell it, and we don't share it with anyone for their marketing.

  3. Who else sees it

No one outside Shim. What you send is stored in our own database, hosted by DigitalOcean in the United States. When we write back, it's from our own Google Workspace email.

  4. Analytics

We count page visits with PostHog, without anything that identifies you. It doesn't set cookies or store anything in your browser.

  5. Unsubscribing

Reply to any email from us and say so, and we won't email you again.

  6. Deleting your data

Email [email protected] and we'll delete everything we have about you.
